THE PROCESS
What to expect:
Therapy looks a little different for everyone. From your first session forward, your therapist will take time to understand what brings you in, what matters to you, and what you hope to get from therapy. Your sessions and approach will continue to take shape around you as the work unfolds.
-
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Whether you’re coming individually, as a couple, or as a family, your time with your therapist is shaped around what brings you in and what feels most important to work through.
-
Together, you and your therapist will explore what matters most to you and what you’d like to work toward. Your care will be shaped around your needs, goals, and overall well-being, with room to change and grow as you do.
-
There is no single approach that works for everyone. Your therapist may draw from different therapeutic approaches and techniques based on your needs, preferences, and what feels most helpful to you.
-
Along the way, you and your therapist will check in on how things are going, what feels helpful, and whether anything needs to change. Therapy can shift as your needs and goals evolve.
